Frequently Asked Questions
Do students need to own a camera?
Students are encouraged to use their own cameras — mirrorless, DSLR or even a smartphone. Andy tailors instruction to the devices in the room. If some students only have a phone, that’s perfectly fine; smartphone photography is a serious skill in its own right.
What age group is this suitable for?
The program is designed for students aged 10 to 18. Andy has years of experience running sessions for secondary school students.
Can this count as IB CAS Creativity hours?
Yes. Photography is a recognised IB CAS Creativity activity. Andy can provide session records and liaise with your CAS Supervisor to ensure the program aligns with IB learning outcomes.
How many sessions per term do you recommend?
A minimum of 6-8 sessions per term is recommended to allow students to develop skills progressively.
Do you come to our school campus?
Yes — all sessions are delivered on your campus, during your CCA schedule. No travel required for students, except for outdoor photography sessions held at a nearby park (with school staff supervision).
What is the cost?
Pricing is based on the number of sessions, group size, and session duration. Contact us for a tailored program proposal with transparent pricing.
